A/T trans only in 1 gear.

Bought an Auto KADE S14 with auto trans.

Car idles fine. Check engine light is on. Got that checked out and its Crank angle sensor.

Car moves forward no problem but i notice it take 2000 RPM to get the car going.

Drives fine after that. Idk if the car shift extra smooth like butter but it seems like its stays in 1 gear. not sure which one like i said i cant tell if the car shifts.

about 4K rpm when im on 60-75 mph.

Is tranny beat? It drives fine and switches over no problem from P,R,N,D. It doesnt give it that "thud" when i shift it. Also the O/D doesnt work?? the light or the button doesnt make any difference when engage. And when i drop it to 2 or 1 while im at high speed. over 50 mph.

Could this be a bad sensor? Bad torque converter? Bad TCM?

I've looked and so far i've found either low fluids, which i checked. I have yet check the sensor, but i want to know more about it if anyone has had this problem.

I'd switch over to manual but right now its my only car to and from work. Not to mention i dont have a garage to have it sit for a few days to do the conversion.

K thanks. bye.
