well you can get a 300 dollar paint job and it'll last you 6 months... or you can go all out and get a 1-2K job and then... you can then go for show quality painting at 3K plus... I know people who've spent 5K plus for their paint jobs... its expensive as ####... usually the last thing you wana do

Well, there are some shops that'll do an "okay" paint job for under 1k. However, expect your doors and various little parts NOT to be repainted, like the door jams.

just remember to go for a color that you will like for a long time if your gonna put down a good amount of cash.  just hope you don't make the car look like a skittle.

i have that silver moss color...not only is it only a factory color but its a pearl coat...so that will a whole lot more expensive than the white...but i definatly agree with wasabi, pick a color you will love for a long time because for a decent job youll put down alot of cash and you dont want to change again any time soon.

Don't go to Macco.  I mean, well, go there if you want to.  But their work just isn't as good.  A really good job costs so much because they'll take the body panels off and coat them nicely all around, clear coat, and all kinds of other completely worthwhile stuff.

Of course, I had this explained to me by a guy that wanted $3k to repaint a car, but when he said it all detailed and stuff I just kept thinking, "Okay, this is totally the way to repaint a car."  Talk to a professional.  You'll be ready to never use the word Macco again.
