OK when u take off ur tanny, ull notice that on either side of the tranny where it mounts to the tranny mount, there is a little black piece. I lost those. my car is a 93 240sx. what are these pieces called and maybe a part number? the dealer was no help and right now , my tranny can move side to side because i have no bolts holding it to the tranny brace. PLEASE HELP. do i even need these parts? and what can i use as a replacement?? thanks all.. need a speedy quick reply.

They aren't black things. Maybe yours were just covered in tranny oil. They are gold. The two things preventing it from sliding is a stud with an oval shaped top that has a nut that threads on to it. The flat oval thing mounts up above and the nut comes from the bottom. I don't have any specific names but you might be able to describe it that way.
