hey just just swaped in my ka24de because i blew my last one. Now i have everything installed, and wires and plumbing, and now my car wont stay on! could this be because of timing??? please let me know if you know something.

You didnt really explain what is going on but i would say check all your wiring and all of your grounds. Also check your timing. Get a timing gun and see.

my car will start but i have to keep on tapping the throttle to keep it on, all my grounds and wiring are fine.

Check your tps and see if its set correctly. Also make sure your getting enough fuel. Check all injectors and fuel pump.

how do you check if the tps is set wrong?? i have the same problem but seems like it might be timing because the engine shakes rough when i let go of the gas. could it be timing? seems like it is due to not bolting on the cams right or maybe something called the idle gear i have heard. any help is appreciated

When you start it, does it sound like a loping v8? You might be a tooth off on timing. Also, check your vacuum lines.

Check for Vacuum Leaks as well.
