DIY rear window replacement anyone?

Whats up? I recently picked up a 92 lexus sc400 that needs the rear windshield replaced. Instead of paying about 1200 bucks to get this done, id figure someone might have some imput on this.

Ive noticed that there is no gasket to cut into....almost as if the glass sits right on the bodyO_O.

Ive google searched and forum searched and received nothing but 'just psy the 1200'....yea....no, im not paying 1200 for a fucking piece of glass i can get for 100 bucks. As always, any help is appreciated:-)
