hey just got a rhd s13 with a sr20det black top

had a srt4 so this is way different


1st question: why does the sr20det sound almost like if it had lifter problems? i have searched n searched and even on vids they sound like that people say is normal?


2nd question: what oil and oil filter and spark plugs do i use on it? (that i can buy at autozone, advance auto parts)

3rd question: i heard theres parts from other motors that are compatable with ours, so i been thinking what happens if somday the alternator goes bad? or the starter motor? can i find a replacement at autozone? or do i have to park the car for a week+ waiting for the part to be deliver?

4th question: on the srt4 i had to run 1k+ injectors and 2 fuel pumps with -8 fuel lines to make 450-520 on e85, i heard i can get close to does numbers with a walbro, 750cc witht he sr20?
