Help reattaching Valve cover baffle.
so i took my VC to a place & had it powder coated. the place that did it doesn't typically do automotive parts, but they are friends of the family & agreed to do a whole crap load of stuff for me...
everything came out great with 1 exception...they blasted the inside of the VC. i put in through numerous part washes & blew it out with air a bunch of times but couldn't get all the media out. i then grind-ed down the rivets in the VC & removed the baffle & cleaned it out... now i need to re-attach it. 1 problem i am facing is the VC is aluminum & the baffle is steel...so i cant weld it. has anyone ever removed a baffle & reattached it? how?    |
