![]() Hey all. I need some help. I got ticketed (in Cali) by CHP and had to get my car smogged at a state referee site. I smogged it this morning and it DIDN"T PASS. The only part it didn't pass was the IDLE part. Here are the specs:
At Idle (702 RPM): %CO2: 9.0 %O2: 7.4 HC (PPM): AVE: 17, MEAS: 101 (this is where i failed-max is 100) CO (%): AVE: 0.00, MEAS: 0.10 (max is 1.00) At 2500 RPM (2496 average): %CO2: 14.5 %O2: 0.1 HC (PPM): AVE: 12, MEAS: 18 (max is 130) CO (%): AVE: 0.10, MEAS: 0.03 (max is 1.00) Does anyone have any idea why I didn't pass?? I was told that at idle, there was too much oxygen. Any suggestions? Thanks for all the help. Report |
