What to do with EGR Canister Control Solenoid Valve Connector when removing emissions
I am attaching a drawing that shows everything that I am removing outlined in red. Removing everything is very straight forward because all you are dealing with are vacuum lines. However the EGR Canister Control Solenoid Valve and SCV Control Solenoid Valve both have electrical connectors coming from the wire harness. When I eliminate those two solenoid valves what should I do with the electrical connectors? Can I just tape then to the wire harness so they are out of the way or do I need to actually need to leave the solenoid valves and connect the wires to them but remove the vacuum lines?
I was hoping to remove the complete plate on the back of the cylinder head that those two solenoid valves are attached to. I have searched for this answer for about and hour and haven't found anyone making mention of the electrical connectors and what they did with them. Thanks, Zac |
