rb20det tranny issues

So this just started doing this the other day. My reverse is gone it just grinds. its incredibly hard to get it in first and fourth grinds at high rpm. There has been a hum when i'm rolling down the road so i just have assumed it was something with the drive shaft because i was having drive shaft issues when i bought the car. I've heard things from bad or low gear oil to my clutch to my t/o bearing to even theres not enough travel for my slave cylinder. Can someone help? This car has been nickel and diming me like none other.
