Fellow Zilvia memeber Phlip aka phil was in a very serious car wreck late Sat. night. He is still in ICU and recovering. He's been battleing swelling on the brain and a skull fracture. His recovery is going well the swelling and pressure on is brain is lessening very well no paralysis, he's still very responsive. he had been to responsive when they brought him in and had to be sedated down to coma status but they are lessening that now. I waited to post this untill he had at least reached this point in his recovery. he's not out of danger yet but is definately headed there. his family asks for your prayers and promises he'll be back to annoy you all soon enough (yes they are as crazy as he is

) I've havent been in to see him yet but i've been there to see his family and will keep you all posted as I learn more. I saw the car and Phils lucky to be alive. I'll let him post the pics when he gets back.

Wow, I don't know Phil, but it sounds like he's very lucky to be alive! I'm glad to hear that he's still with us, and I wish him a speedy recovery.

Anybody wanna start a collection to get him a get-well gift? I'd say flowers, but that's a little :ghey:... I know he'd love to get something that shows him how much we all care about him.

He's up here at Moses Cone room number is 3311(?) Iirc. I can find out for sure in a bit. I count it a good sign that hes at MC if his injuries had been worse they would have sent him to Duke Med or Chapel Hill, so small victory there.

he currently cant have anything in his room (ICU rules) but as soon as they move him to a regular room we can get something together and send it too him.

Steeles, let me know. PG west coast is down for it. i know he's a big music fan, so something so he can buy afterwards himself might be cool. like a gift certificate (yea i know its nothing impressive but it is when a bunch of people throw in 5 or more dollars).

umm yeah car is.. well you'd have to see it. His moms asked me and jason to go look at it to see if its worth moving and stripping. I took some pics but I cant even stand to look at them.

because its not my place to. plain and simple. I personally dont fell it right to discuss what happened whos fault blah blah blah. I posted this because a friend is hurt. when he is better and feels like it then you can ask him what happened. till then I would appreciate it if you would delete your post or edit it one. no one else was involved in the accident though to answer one of your questions
