sr20det throttle problem

so i noticed that my sr throttle pully doesnt like to close all the way. when you pull back on the pully the cable release the tension but then it wont tighten up again so the butterfly stays open at like 3k. how do i fix this? like its almost grinding against something not letting the butterfly close all the way. please help thank you

Take the cold pipe off, see what's going on inside it... go from there.

i took off the cold pipe. it looks fine on the inside of the body. just seems like something is getting caught on the pully not letting it return all the way to close

loosen the slack in the cable. take your time and adjust it in small increments and it'll stop hanging the throttle plate open.

May need a new throttle cable. Mine was pinched at a hard angle from previous owner and always bind so got a new one and fixed everything
