stock engine has 200k miles what to expect

what to expect when there is 200k miles what should i change? to make it reliable..
i understand the head gasket is burnt..
what else should be fixed? new spark plugs
timing belt?

It depends on the car, what do you think is wrong with it? We can't diagnose the car without being there or a little more info on how it runs. Your standard stuff should be done like full tune up after you replace the head gasket, and when you are doing that replace the timing chain and tensioners.

There's a lot of tutorials online on how to do timing chain on KA24DE. You should search, I know because I've just did it like 4 weeks ago.

Yeah there are marks on the chains and the gears, they don't leave you just to guess.

what do you mean your understand headgasket it burnt? do you have low compression in any cylinders, are you burning coolant, oil? if not, dont touch the headgasket, screw that waist of time. just do your routine maintenance till something goes wrong...
