I don't think these people understand how an air-water intercooler works or how to properly expoit the fact that air-water intercoolers need the bare minimum of piping, decreasing turbo lag time (which they clearly aren't concerned with considering the turbo) OR how this will block air flow to the radiator.

I was thinking the exact same. What's the point? Air to water lets you get really short super cold bursts for drag racing but drive around FL for a June afternoon and they are worthless (unless you stop to add ice)

I thought so too? If you look on the rest of his page, all he does is drag race it anyway....so I geuss he just has to sit there at super high RPM's while staging, then add ice right before the next run? Crazy ass swedes.....damn,that 2JZ can even spool that supermonster turbo? I like 2jz's,....but that turbo is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's my car and i build it with support from Supramannen Racing. And we are fully awere how a air-water intercooler works....if it works for MSP, 8,25 @ 1/4 mile, it works for me

About the air to the radiator it's no problem, that is taking care of.....we know what we are doing.....

The car is build to do good times at the dragstrip...not on highways....

But with a little extra radiator the water don't get varmer than 20-25 celsius without ice....

How about top-mounted with a vented hood, that way you have all the airflow you need without bastardizing the flow to the radiator... On top of that, you will have short enough hot and cold piping to make for GREAT throttle response...

yeah but you already had the Bimmer..not like you had to go out and decide to spend 25K or 75K....

are you planning on daily driving your Supra?

i personally have ZERO love for drag only cars...i think it's worthless...if you want an 8sec car great...just not for me...waste of time, money, and energy..

i'd be happily pimpin the 7series and rollin my s13 to the track on weekends...

Seen it done with some cutting and welding, quite a bit of custom work, which doesn't look to be too foreign an idea with what I see here...
