if you worried about the power difference between the Z and the G, well its 7 hp. and i'd give up 7 hp for a backseat that much luxury in a body that is way more sexy. still handles just as good

Me too...I can't stand the new Z's.....Especially when they are compared to the older Z's.The older Z seems to have more of an original body style..There are so many cars today that basically have the same body style as the Z33.. For example Sc430's,RX-8's have that certain roundness to the body (Like the Z),Audi TT's Has the round body,Etc... I dunno i just like the older model more. The new ones look too polished.. :ghey:

Z= too heavy. They look really nice, and have about the best interior ever. But I would take a 240 or other light rear wheel drive car for performance.
Z33 is for pulling poosie

if you have not driven a Z33, do not speak of it's non sporty-ness. before you get your panties in a twist, I didn't say non of you have driven them. Simply that you should qualify your statements with that information. Magazine racers are annoying.
IMO - the Z is about as much straight up sports car as you can get these days. They are badass. Not terribly quick stock, but the feel of the car is awesome. For it's weight, it is still a very nimble car. p.s. I have driven one.. very hard.

I never said they look exactly the same ..I just said that their bodies are simalar. There all have very round bodies that look polished and not sporty at all..Hell even the new solara's have the same head lights and tail lights (Same shape anyways)

i can see the SC comparison..the solara comparison is getting a little thin, but the rx8..i just dont see it. If you want to throw in the 'its round' idea..then you have to throw in the 'its angled' look of the early 90's. 5.0 mustangs, 3rd gen f-bodies, s13, mkIII, etc etc..its just an era design. New cars are round, old cars are shoe-boxes, and 80's and 90's are fall somewhere in the middle.

The solara was just thrown in there for the headlights and tail lights...The Rx was thrown in there for it's roundness (Which the Z has a lot of)....I think that's exactly what it is. An era, Most car companies are going towards a rounder look. Which is cool for luxury but for sports purposes it just looks lame to me....I guess it'll eventually grown on me *Shrugs*...I just think the new Z looks lame compared to the old one or even the 280Z's

I think it's just a trend factor, even the new crossfires have a similar body shape, but I believe the RX-8 has nothing in commin with any of those other cars... it doesn't even have that much of a slope in the rear windsheild.

the Z has a lot more edge to it than the RX-8. it only looks like an RX-8 because it has 4 wheels, glass, and is sporty. ya know, kinda like how it looks like a mustang... exactly.
