Lsd Help!!!

1998 SE non-abs open-diff

I've got a 300zx LSD ready to go in. Its the 5-bolt pattern. I'm trying to find some axles (CV half-shafts) for a 1993 ('92 thru '95~ish) Infiniti J30. I can't find any here. Everyone is OUT. They all have "order only" but the place to order them doesn't have any.

Does anyone have any? Or know of a place to get any? I'll pay for shipping.

PLEASE let me know if you find out anything.

Thanks!

The open diff shafts wont fit without machining.

But since you cant find J30 axles, that might be your best bet.

yah man i was in the same situation as you.. i was doing the z32 diff in a s14.. and i couldnt find the outputshafts anywhere.. last resort was to order them through nissan.. and we know how expensive new parts can be... but i did place the order cost me 240 for both.. and its tapped in, ready to be switched this weekend... the wait took about 2 weeks.. luckily i placed it before my spring break.. and when i came back there it was....=) good luck man.

order the right shafts from Nissan $240 find a set of pre 95 J30 axles used $75-150= no brainer. do a search on the web for junkyards . usedparts.com , you can usually get them to ship to you for like $30 still cheaper than buying the outshafts from Nissan.

This is the problem I'm having. I can't find any j30 axles. I'm hoping somebody out there has found some that I can buy or can give me a contact number of someone who has some.

I'm in the process of calling every junkyard in a 100 mile radius.... and i'm still coming up empty handed.

ordering the output shafts is a different story... that would cost me $200 a side. Thats too much money.

shafts

yah understandable, no one wants to spend loot on parts, u can get fairly cheap... but im not gonna wait forever for a deal and call 300 different places to find that deal... i just paid for it using my shops discount through nissan.. and i got it for a fair price.. its already in and i can totally tell the difference between open and lsd.. one of the best upgrade ive done yet...

z32 n/a axles don't fit; they are too long.

I'm going to keep calling around. many places say "SURE! We can get them" and then call me back and say "Well, our supplier is out, too."

So, the search continues...
