I found this VERY strange... Today i tried to swap hoods with this guy i know, his hood is from a 96 240sx and my car is a 95 240sx... Hood hinge bolts bolt right up, and the hood laches when u close it, but will never lock. We tried adjusting the hood by moving it up and down on the hood hinges, and we tried raising and lowering the actual hood latch mechinism without any sucess... After an hour or two, we gave up and i put back on my hood and latched and locked just fine! Anybody else have this same problem?? cus myself and my friend were both stumped on why it didnt fit... i would think 95 and 96 were the same body...
