New, just looking for some advice.

I've been wanting to build a 240 for years now and just keep procrastinating and having things come up. I just have a coupe of questions about swaps if y'all could help me out.

I'm gonna be buying my motor off jdm engine depot, but I'm not sure which to get.

I was wanting a Redtop sr20, but the blacktop sr20's go for the same price and have vvt. I was also looking at rb20's and rb25's, but people say that it throws the weight balance off in these cars, so what is the best choice for an engine for these cars? In your opinion, not asking you to google it. Simply asking what is your guys' preference and why.

Our personal preferences are going to be different from yours. You need to weigh the pros and cons of each engine and decide what fits YOU and what you can ultimately afford. If you have no mechanical skills, I suggest you polish those before attempting some of the more complicated swaps.

Ultimately it is your money, car and goals. YOU need to make the decision yourself instead of asking a forum to make the decision for you.

Now, sit down in front of the computer and do yourself and us a huge favor and read... Find anything and everything available information wise to make an "educated" decision. Welcome to Zilvia, we are all asshole, get over it.
