Why did my post get deleted? And why do I not atleast get a message from admin? Seems unprofessional

Because you had an item for sale or trade in a section other than the marketplace.
And because Forum Rules specify in no uncertain terms that Moderators and Admins can close/move/remove posts when we see fit.
-BUT-
It seems to be quite simple that if you're buying/selling to use the proper section and not jam up Off Topic.
