Isis HR Pros Coils? or Megan Street Coils?

On a LOW budget trying to get a set of coils overs for under $800, from my research isis and megan are around my set price range. i heard a lot about megan but not much about the isis.(sorry if this questions has been asked, but i already did a search) I only plan on using them for daily driving abuse. what your personal opinion on these two types of coilovers

Of those two I would go with megan.

I also have a buddy selling his barely used tein type flex coils for 800+shipping, if youre interested pm me!

They all suck, but i believe Megan's been sucking for longer so that might be a better choice.

For DD use, get the cheapest set. With your budget range, you won't be able to tell the difference. That being said: ISIS and Megan are your top dollar. Go with EMUSA, Godspeed, JSK, etc.

everyone saying isis, megan suck, do you actually own a set, or driven a car with them? quite honestly i thought they would suck too, but after owning some isis coil-overs my opinion is quite the opposite, and they actually feel better than tein basic's and superstreet's, they almost feel about the same as the tein flex or my hks hipermax's on my Fit, but build quality probably not as good, but still not bad for only $700? and for daily its works just fine, i have another 240 with Zeal B6 before and now Tanabe Seven's and they are super expensive and hella stiff, ok for daily and better for track, where as the isis i notice if you do push it a little harder they aren't as good, but still bearable and for a lot of people they wouldn't notice the difference of isis to a better more expensive coil-over

for sub $800.00 i got KYB AGX's, Tien lowering springs, camber plates, and front tension rods.

on 1/1 stiffness it is as soft as stock.

on 3/6 stiffness it is pretty damn stiff

on 4/8 it is just retarted stiff.

its not as low as coilovers, but its definitely more daily drivable. i can still clear speed bumps if need be.

j/w - why do you want coilovers? for max lowering?

save your money and get something a little better than isis or megans. I personally wont go any cheaper than fortune auto (you can get them for 1200 or cheaper if you look for sales) but I have heard ok things about PBM.

I bought isis coilovers for my s14 two months ago and have really enjoyed them. Car handles way better and they go pretty low. I recommend them.

Yeah seems like the roads suck down there, at least where I have been for work. But just as bad up here in Albany.

Megan are a lot stronger from my experience. For a few hundred more why not go with PBM or at least some Tein basics.

Uh, don't listen to that.

JSK is alright I guess for a daily driver, Godspeed and Emusa are total garbage.

Of the two you said I would pick Isis, but first I'd look for some used Tein HRs or something.

thanks for all the inputs guys, hearding all this, now im deciding, saving up for some stance or pbm or just get the isis hrp pros. i looked into used coil overs like the tiens but for a 100-200 you can get a different brand new coil over. has anyone used the isis hr pros? i seem some fucked up videos of the isis hr, with broken strut and shit but how are the isis hr pros with the new mono tube design?

All I've heard in this thread so far is. Should I go with Windflower, Windflower, or Windflower.

No OP, you should go with Windflower.

When I bought my coupe, it came with Godspeed coils. I thought they rode good until I put some PBM coils. It was a night and day difference.

I've got the Megan Track's and have put a few thousand km's on em, just daily abusing them. They are my first set of coilovers and was warned by a friend that they tend to have a "squishy" feel to them and this is true unfortunately, especially on rougher roads. But, they're decent coilovers so far and will tie me over until I want to upgrade.
