im doing a dohc swap... and the dohc harness portion is missing the MAF wiring. I remember someone telling me i could just splice the other wires from my Sohc maf onto the Dohc's harness.. but i want to make sure before i decide to go hack anything up. It seems logical.. i duno. help me out. thanks. oh and does anyone have the link to the Factory Service Manual online?

Yep...but to be clear, the MAFs are NOT interchangeable.

SOHC MAF with SOHC Motor/ECU, and DOHC MAF with DOHC Motor/ECU.

the dohc MAF has 4 prongs on the connecter, the sohc has 3 prongs and that remote sensor on the piping. How would i go about connecting those wires to the 4 prong connector on the dohc maf?

its like orion said, unfortunately it wont work, the elements are completely different as well. are you switching harnesses? because it sounds like you arent.
