hey im currently looking for a nissan 240sx. i have found one with an rb25det and i wanna swap and tune the ecu. the current ecu is tuned as stock still.
what is a good ecu to go with?

really depends who's tuning it. should ask your tuner what he prefers.

so then should i take it to a shop to tune and have them choose and tune?

Yeah. because the only people that should really be concerned with your tune are the people tuning it.
