RS-r exmag or invidia

Hey guys,

on the for sale board there's a guy selling an rs-r exhaust.

It's 2 years old and he says it's called 'invidia' in japan. I was wondering if there is a way to confirm whether this is an EXMAG - you know, the quiet one - or some other Rs-r exhaust.

thanks

A trip to RS*R's webpage would've have yielded you this answer.

Invidia was a brand name that was offered by RS-R Japan during the mid 1990's. RS-R ceased offering the Invidia exhaust line in 1996. The Invidia brand name was later obtained by another independent company which has no relation to RS*R Japan or RS*R USA.

We would like to make it absolutely clear that RS-R Japan does not manufacture Invidia exhaust systems and RS-R USA does not distribute Invidia products.

Seem to be different models as far as I can tell. Have you ask him when he bought? If he got it after '96 it's not even RS*R, so it's definitely not an Ex-Mag.

That's not an Ex-Mag. The Ex-Mag has no resonator on the mid-pipe.
