The worst part is, if that's AG2 Aztec red, you can paint a pair of fenders yourself and s top being a dick about it.

Take that code to a store to have them make the color for you.

I don't believe you. Both Sherman Williams & car quest conversion stores (advance auto parts) can make paint. Sub Sherman williams for your local paint place.

You mean base coat red? You can't just get touch up spray cans, you need to get the paint made for you haha.

Trust me, in its history, you are not the first to spray body parts. Many people have successfully painted vehicles with over the counter paint before.


If you do it right, it will look just dandy.

What im trying to tell you is that i DID have paint made. It WAS AH3 paint code. And it came out looking like my ex-girlfriends legs after a shitty sunday afternoon. Ive TRIED both generic and custom made cans. They suck. The reason why i dont want to buy a different color fender and get it painted at a body shop (because i do have access to plenty of the) is for the simple reason of the natural fade and weathering of all the other panels. Im gonna shoot a brand new paint job on one fender and the rest of the car would be a different tone at that point. And yes i do understand the matching and blending and everything. The car will be up and running again in a few weeks time and if i cant find a fender that is the same color then i will have to buy a different color but with the time frame i have im trying to find the right color.
