Someone is offering me a slightly used but in very good condition Vis OEM style carbon fiber hood for an s14 kouki with hoodpins ( :/ i dont like but i can always paint over them) and a red silvia badge (my pref) already mounted for 320 bucks shipped. i was wondering if anyone thinks this is a good deal or not. it seemed good to me, but i don't know a whole lot about hoods and how cheap you can get them.

they seem to go for about 350 on ebay before shipping.

why would you not like the hood pins... they aren't optional. -unless you enjoy your fancy hood flying loose and smashing against your windshield.

heh...i'm just not a fan of the way it looks...i like the functionality of them , but i dont like how they stand out...i can deal with it though, i'm tired of looking at my banged up hood :'( poor lil thing... anyways, i could just paint them, but i did read someone post on this forum a while back about getting a CF overlay or SOMTHING like that on them, i cant remeber anything what the thread was about so icant find it...lol if anyone knows what i am talking about leme know...lol hmmm, while i'm at it, anyone know any good way to hide hood pins? lol...
