My 1st dyno with the SR
I decided to go to the dyno today to tune the SAFC2 on stock boost, almost stock redtop setup. Wasn't expecting much, just wanted to check up on the a/f ratio. I only had time to get in 4 pulls and adjust the SAFC2. The 1st 2 were in 4th gear which hit the speed limiter, the last 2 were in 3rd gear.

Is that RWHP or adjusted to be at the crank? Either way, good shiet. What did you end up adjusting on the SAFC? Lean it out a bit on the top end or what?

![]() Hey,
I had car dynoed in VA at ARfabrications they did a great tune and in the end put down 420 horse power to the wheels. They have a brand new all wheel drive dyno that is great and i think it cost around 100-150 a hour. |

This was in College Park, MD at SwiftRacingTechnologies (www.swiftracing.com). They charged me $60 for 3 pulls, I got a free pull because they accidentally did a 4th gear run twice instead of once. They usually charge $95 for an hour session, but I believe they might be raising their prices pretty soon. These were all at stock 7psi.

yeah at stock 7lbs that doesnt sound right.. more like 11lbs or so with those bolt ons. Unless its flywheel HP as others have said.. mine dynoed at 217whp at 11lbs with minor bolt ons and side mount.. plus i had a thicker headgasket but that should matter for too much hp loss.. but now my baby should rip someplace in the mid 300's! FINALLY!

Haha, I'm not gonna argue with you guys. That's stock boost to the wheel. You can believe me if you want. I only posted this thread for those who were interested and needed a reference.

It's pretty impressive... makes you think!! congratulations.
![]() What are the compression results on all cylinders of that engine?

What kind of adjustments, if any, did you make to the SAFC2?
What was the ambient temp? With 3" exhaust and everything else stock you should be making 180 to the ground on a dynojet @ 7psi. That's impressive, 40hp just messing with the AFC a little... :O |

i'm not saying i dont believe you dood, if you did get that much @ 7psi good for you! I'm happy.. the reason why you got so many replies is simply because people dont see that amount of HP on stock boost, simply as that! Mine did not make that even at 11.5psi so there you can see the difference.
Eitherway, good stuff! and great numbers! |

is nobody noticing that he has a FMIC and what appears to me a 3" turboback exhaust?
That, with a little fuel tuning COULD result in those numbers. It may just be that he has a very healthy motor (or maybe his boost gauge wasn't accurate).

^^^ i noted that but completly stock an sr should put down 170ish whp (assuming 15% drivetrain loss). so that would put him at 50whp over stock...

He's significantly NOT stock at this point, only the boost level is stock, and with intercooler especially, his power level will be significantly increased. Fuel tuning will only make it better.

like i said.. number are amazing.. almost too good to be true.. and as i have said i'm not doubting your motor or the mods you have, but i would also suggest going to another dyno if you ever get a chance as i have heard numerous rumers that dynos can be changed with ease to read higher numbers then what they really are. Either way all that is important that motor has some great compression numbers and seems clean as it can possibly get. Good luck with the car and your project!

3" exhaust and stock everything SR puts down 180 per SCC's dyno and my friend's dyno. on a dynojet. Link to my friends chart = 180hp dyno on a dynojet With a FMIC, AFC + light tuning and 3" exhaust, as mr. myzpixtixixipoxufcoidsgyfijds pointed out, it is not far-fetched for him to get that amount of power from moderately low boost, although it is possible his gauge is reading wrong. DORIMON, where is your gauge getting its source from? |

nice numbers benji, i have the exact same setup as yours except instead of an FMIC i have an ARC SMIC. alot bigger than the stock side mount but not exactly riding with the big boys yet. - oh and I have an S-AFC. Its not installed tho...
do u run those NE points on the stock boost setup only? do u have a different settings for when you run higher boost? i hope to get simlar results as you.
