Problem with my S-14....

OK when I first bought my car (127K miles) the check light would blink once in a while whenever I step on the gas. But it stopped doing that in less than a week. So today I unplugged the resisitor to see if there is any effect with my auto transmission, but thats other story. Back to my problem, when I connected the resisitor back and started up my car my check engine light came on. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cry.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> But this time it wasn't blinking, its just stays on.
