All I know about is about the s14 swap but its similar, the main thing is that you have to rewire the engine harness and the engine sub harness, swap water temp sensor off of KA onto SR, swap speed sensor off of KA to SR, change fuel filter to 300zx TT fuel filter, and everything else is pretty much bolt on. if you have a manual 240sx you can use its driveshaft but if you have a automatic your going to have to get a manual driveshaft( This is all assuming you have a manual SR tranny).

OH get a FSM itll be your best friend even after you finish the swap..

WOW....wait...am i really in ZILVIA.net?!?! WAIT ITS NOT APRIL FOOLs DaY already is it?!?! No Nubie bashing, sorry but thats a new concept here...atleast in a while. =p But yah Welcome to Zilvia.
you
Well one thing that people forgot is that....since you have a SOHC, you will need to get DOHC Power Steering lines for your swap. You can use the SR power steering but you will need the lines from 91 and up 240sx chassis.

you can also build your own lines russel and aeroquip make adapter fittings for the pump and rack for the high pressure line the low press line just needs a pipe nipple then get your self some generic ps return line to hook it up with

And make sure the clip you're getting wasnt from a Hicas model car. Mine was and it was a pain in the arse to make the power steering work (the hicas pump has two outlets). I ended up buying the correct sr ps pump, dohc lines, and resevoir for about $150.

a better idea is to do a ka24det, it will be faster for the money. Search for kat stuff and if the sr20 is what your heart desires go for it. www.phase2motortrend.com has some nice sr related info

1st step is go too a couple of shops who have done the swaps get all of the parts needed for this and check prices and most important when on deciding on the swap its more important too look at the quality of work done on the customers car then the shop car.
