did a search already have nothing that i want to know...

i have a 89 240sx it is currently sohc (automatic)... im thinking about rebuilding it... the thing i want to know is if i get a DOHC manual transmission can i use it with my sohc (auto) ecu? it should have no problems right.. ? but there would be a problem for cold start if i just use my auto sohc ecu.. if i get a manual sohc ecu it would be fine? and wiring harness for the dohc tranny fits fine for the sohc ecu? cept the speed thing correct? thats all i need to know thanks!
