I was actually suprised to see that the tire itslef was red. I like the red duct tape too.

where can you get those red smoking tires from? I looked on tire rack and they don't sell them anywhere. I called all around town and they said that they never heard of such a thing.

that sucks...i wonder how those guys got those tires. Is there something you put on them to make them red? I used to put this black magic stuff on my tires called tire tint and it made them look red when the sun shined on them. I wonder if it is something like that?

this was at teh road america track in elk hart lake in wisconsin....they ran it on the go kart track there which was perfect!

If you put red food coloring in some KY then put it on your tires it will do that......

The track is called Briggs & Stratton Motorplex, and it sits in the middle of a turn on Road America. It was the greatest event I have been to so far. I came in 2nd in the competition. Top 4 were

1. Billy Tam
2. Simba Nyemba
3. Tim Gillette
4. Eric Wortman

Overall this weekend was a big blast. From fitting 16x8 -10 wheels with limited time and ending up cutting my fenders, to tearing up a bowling alley, giving them the most business they have had in a long time and running them out of jager. And then Pfieffer driving the shit out of my car and the Origin demo Levin.

I'll write a little more later once I get some videos up and whatnot.

Hey we were totally rooting for you man. I don't know if you noticed but we were the guys right next to the fence were you pull off the track. We couldn't believe you didn't win. Good job!

lol just noticed thats my ass on top of it taping. That trailer is rediculously nice, its air conditioned, trailer works as a lift, can fit 3 cars with all their tools in it, 4 w/o. THey also brought a tire changer, and loads of tires.

Thanks for all the support, and the reason I didnt win was because they wanted me to dirt drop it at the entry again. I did it once but couldnt hold it, and each time I came really close to doing it, and they didnt like me teasing them

. Its all in good fun though, I'm glad I won second, I like my MXs, it was kind of hard to decide who would win, we each did something better than the other.

that looks like an awesome course, ive yet to do an event with elevation changes even if those are a little minor. seems like alot of fun.

To be honest in the morning during practice you didn't look that good. Then after it started raining and once the comp started as of a sudden you started snappin! That's why we we hoppin you'd win. I was like "WTF, does he have a button for drift on his car" lol

haha well the reason I was doing shitty in the morning of the comp was because of the rain. If you took a closer look at my front tires they are bald azenis put on backwards, so I had to fight a lot of understeer. Then Alex Pfieffer and Rob Flemming gave me some tips on my entry and I was good to go after that.
