i dunno why, but like none of those buttons that switch the air from ur face to your feet, to the defogger on my car work... it's crazy because i can't see ANYTHING when i drive because my defogger does'nt work... like the air blows to your face out of the normal vent... but it wont switch to the defogger/feet vents now.. i could'nt see crap the whole drive home. I checked the fuses and they seemed ok... anyone know what could be wrong or broken? I have a 90 240sx f/b.... even the little green lights on the buttons to like recirculate air, or the a/c light, and all of those buttons dont turn on... BUT, the air still blows to my face, the heater and like switch for the air pressure all work... What can I check? It's POURING rain here so I NEED the defogger!

rubbing alcohol on your windows = no fog

really? what kinda alcohol and how long does it last? i heard RainX makes some fog crap

Replace the mode door motor first. If that does not solve the issue replace the control head.

any hints at what it looks like?

Check the fuse marked A/C under the dash. I had the same problem and it just a blown fuse.

The FSM will tell you. You can also look just above your right foot and clearly see it.
