Number of hours to do JDM S14 Conversion

Hello,

Happy New Year!

If I have 1996 240SX and JDM S14 Front Clip, how long does it take to pull out KA24 motor and drop in SR20DET? With all the wiring, from start to finish.

I've encountered similar work and on average it takes two ~10 hour days for a complete conversion.

Do you guys think with all parts at hand SR20DET conversion can be done in a matter of a weekend? In other words 20 hours of work will be enough?

Thank you!

1 day if you know what your doing exactly.

on average 2 days would be enough if you book it and dont bs and have some expirience previously of cousre, for those little things that come oup.

if its your first time, expect much longer times

^What are you talking about? This is an S14, not S13. They are discussing an engine swap, not a front end conversion. What do fenders have to do with an engine swap?

Maybe when he does engine swaps he makes sure all the body panels are aligned perfectly at the same time.

Quit bragging with the fast swap times. You bastards are making me want to go home early and throw my SR in! (I only have to swap the block and head, to replace a blown bottom end)
