I just bought a 1995 S14(auto) not too long ago and I noticed there is a jolt/push from first gear to second gear. It jolts and launches the car into second gear. This does not happen at higher RPMS though. All the other gears are fine. My RPM needle also spudders once in a while and it doesn't seem to read accurately. I would idle under 5,000 RPMS or idle at 10,000 RPMS but the engine doesn't sounds the same.
