ISIS shortthrow shifter

I received my ISIS short throw shifter today in the mail. I am really impressed with the quality. I think ISIS has done a great job producing quality parts. I also purchased the ISIS auto to 5 speed clutch line and it too looks to be good quality. After I do my swap this weekend I'll report my experience with the products. I just sold my s13 that was 5speed so I know what a stocker feels like. Ken at Enjukuracing.com hooked me up with the 50% off deal.

I got my 5speed swap done and now my car is finally awake. The ISIS shifter shifts great. It's has a very tight feel to it. It's probably one my best mods so far, besides the swap itself.

We have sold almost 100 of these and havent had anyone complain about any rattle. The only ones i ever heard rattle were the B&M's a long time ago, and that had something to do with the shift knob they included.

Thanks
Ken

just got mine in the mail...just curious, on how to install this thing. it's the same as the other short shifters (ie i can use the instructions found on the b and m website)?

was it supposed to come with any accessories? such as rings, knobs, clamps etc...i didn't get any of those.

Good to know. I wasn't sure about ordering ISIS products because they're such a new company but I'll be purchasing one of these from Enjuku soon

I havent heard of them rattling. What shift knob do you have on it? Make sure everything is good and tight. If you cant figure it out, let me know and i will get you a replacement one ASAP.

just email me or call me - [email protected]

I have a B&M and mine rattles when i am around 5k+ under heavy acceration and i have a pretty heavy shift knob. I assume at that point the isis would rattle a bit also?

I have been running mine for almost a year now. Still good to go but it has always had a rattle at 5000+ rpm's. They all do from the cars I've driven (B&M or black market).

I have the circuit sports v2 solid shifter but it rattles. Seems to be coming from that middle piece because if I mess around with that part it stops. I like the way it shifts and feels though. May consider the Isis shifter if I don't figure out a fix to this.

I have had the isis short shifter for 2 years now. Its a great shifter for the price, I would strongly recommend replacing the shifter cup with an OEM nissan one($2) because the one they send you is low quality and split in about two weeks. Other than that is has a small amount of twist and has held up fine. Very small rattle from the c-clip on the shifter weight, but other than that, Good product.

Does anyone know which short shifter (ISIS, B&M..etc) has the shortest lever? Like where the shift knob sits? I have a short shifter but the lever seems to be the same length as the stock shifter.. only different is the throw is shorter... thanks!
