Hey everyone, I think this is my first post on this particular board, but I just wanted to ask if I could use the veilside S14 silvia CI model 97+ body kit on a 1996 240SX? I heard that you can use the silvia body kits because the car is the same frame? Please respond. If I can't put that body kit on the 96 240SX, could I put it on a 97 240? Thanks is advance.

nope, ya cant, its total different front end (the 95's +96's)..dont see why you cant put it on 97, but i think the North America 97+ 240sx got a extra metal bumper frame in front, 'cause its blocking my signal openings for my BoMex kit (maybe just for xtra support)..can somebody back me up??

With some cash, you can get anyone to fit anything onto your car. Don't give up so easy.

You can put the body kit on a '97, but I thought they make the same body kit for the '95-'96.

welcome to the forum dood!

like 240sB said, 97-98 front won't fit 95-96.....the top edge is different all the way around into the fenders. but GTspecR is also right.....Veilside makes both front bumpers (the side skirts and rear skirts are the same US-spec 95-98). so unless u've got a great deal from a friend, just order the correct one!

hey 240sB, most JDM front bumpers don't fit the US-spec bumper beams properly (ie 95-98 S14). JDM-spec crash req'ments r different. Veilside told me simply ".....not to use the beam". NO crash protection, huh? i'll mod mine as necessary
