sr20det power loss

Hi,
i have a sil80 with the sr20det redtop engine and lately its starting to lose power,
this do's not happen all the time only the odd time here and there,
when it do's happen you can hear the turbo spooling but the power is'nt there to make the car go untill you get into the higher rev's 3 to 4 thousand upwards before you get a bit of a kick from the car,
the thing is wen you turn off the car and leave it for a few hours and get in and drive it again the problem is gone and the car drives perfect again and can run perfect for days/weeks with no prob's and den wen you lest expect it,it comes back again and it has me baffled

i have checked:
sparks plug's, - are fine
airflow sencer, - is fine
coils, - are fine
put in new fuel filter,
changed oil and filter,

can anyone help me with this or has anyone had the same problem,
i have never come across sumtin like this before

Pulled any codes? Sounds like a knock sensor problem.

I had this problem when my stock fuel pump started to go. I put a new pump in and it was all good.
