No front plate petition
My friend passed this onto me. The evidence they use to ditch the front plate doesnt seem good enough but its worth a shot to just sign the petition so we can make it legal to ditch the front liscense plate law in california.

Change the word "abolished" in the last paragraph to eliminated. Abolished is a little too strong a word for the aforementioned subject matter. I mean, we're just talking about not wanting to run front plates. Heh, watch this happen but for cars new than 2000 or something like that. no luck for the s-chassis!

That petition is a waste of time and the "reasons" to eliminate the front plate are a joke.
This petition was made up by a bunch of guys like us who wish they could run without a front plat and not get a ticket. Naturally they cant just say "Texas doesnt run a front plate sho we shouldnt either" so instead they just make up some bullshit reasons and make a petition. This will NEVER happen. |

LOL.
That will never happen. Whoever wrote that really thinks that more money is to be had from shipping an extra license plate than there is to be for people who run red lights; thats just one way the state gets money from front license plates. Affecting aerodynamics? HAHA. Maby on paper. Being fat, lead footed, low tire pressure, excess items. Those will have more of an affect on gas mileage than no front plate. Car crashes? You fail at life if you run into the back of someone anyways. That can be fixed easily by not crashing. DONE. 9/10 the petition stater was a ricer.

^^^ Thats exactly what i though about the starter being ricer. I dont have a front plate on but its because when i bought the car it only came with one. The new plates are coming in next week, i think its stupid when you take your front plate off and put it in the windshield.

Well i would still leave my plate on like i do now its just nice to know i wont get a ticket if i didnt want it on. I leave mine on because i go threw fast track and i use my brothers account so i make sure they can see my plates.

mine came from Louisiana or somewhere like that, so there is no place on the bumper for the front plate.
If you guys don't want to get caught by a red light camera, then here: http://www.amazon.com/PBSpray-Photo-.../dp/B0006NMVD0 it really works, too.

16,738 as on now
I never ran front plates because I see it as saving money. I rather pay 10 bucks for fix-it ticket versus 2-300 for a red light ticket, but then again some cameras take it from the back.

Fail. It's a light. Simple logic. Light goes from green. Stays at yellow for a lil bit. Then it goes to red. So either you have the reflexes of a dead cat, or are speeding. Both of which mean you shouldn't be on the road.
