1996 240sx

Last weekend my push rod broke. The connector for the end that connects to the clutch pedal broke in both places at the base. I have the new part in hand, but I am just wondering how I would install it. Will I have to remove the clutch cylinder, or is there a way to remove just the push rod?

Thank you in advance, I'd really like to drive my car again soon without a huge repair bill.
