Power steering

Is it possible to make the feel of the steering more smooth, To put it more simpler Can you make the way you turn the steering wheel feel almost effortlessly. Its not like ,y steering feels hard but I only want to make it better.

you could get a bigger steering wheel. more leverage. woo hoo.

i dunno.

smaller steering wheel feels more responsive.

maybe you could put a smaller pulley on the power steering pump to make it spin faster? i don't know if that would work, or if it would be a very good idea... lol.

Do you have a S13 or S14? On the S13 the HICAS rack has less turns lock to lock.

Your power steering pump and/or rack is going. Stiff steering is usually the pump and random walking is usually the rack.

Check tyre pressure. Sometimes that will help steering feel. You should check them regularly anyway.

Motor has nothing to do with power steering. The steering rack looks like a steering rack, what else would it look like?

Check fluid type and level, check for leaks, then check for play in the tie rods and the steering pump pulley. Fix the problem and you'll have 'effortless' steering.
