Ive heard in alot of places but not seen explained the idea of shimming the oil pump to get more pressure out of it. Can someone elaborate on this concept? How thick should the shims be to make x difference? I want to do this to my SOHC to get some extra pressure out of her. Anyone want to actually break it down for me? Where is this spring located/ how do I get to it?
