Auto to manual help.

Yes i know it's probably been coverd xxxxxx times but i searched and couldent find some questions. Ok i have a 97 240sx that is currently an Auto. I also have a RHD front clip from a Zenki S14. Will i be able to use the ECU, Clutch Master Cylinder, Clutch pedal, and brake pedal? Im pretty sure all i need are

Clutch master cylinder
Driveshaft
Clutch Pedal
Brake Pedal
Clutch line running from Master cylinder to Slave cylinder
Clutch braded line running from the Clutch master cylinder
Manual ECU

If i forgot anything please tell me thanks

at least on mine, the brake pedal was curved the wrong way, and it is much easier just to cut the brake pedal of yours down, and the master from 180 had a differing location for the line, but it could probably be bent to work. At least it is this way on mine, mines an s13 so i donno how yours might be different.

Will work fine, lines need to be bent a bit. If your runnning a ka24de then the jdm ecu will not work right. Just use your auto ecu for now, same thing only difference is the check light goes on. Take off the bulb from the cluster for an easy fix.

You won't be able to use the ECU 'cuz if it's JDM its for an SR, not KA.

I'm sure the clutch MC would work fine, pedals should too with minor mods possibly needed.

If you have the line, it'll need to be bent since it goes the wrong way across the bay. But just be careful not to kink it.

*EDIT: damn slow posting... koukidough just said the same shit.

Wow im surprised these people helped you out this much. You obviously have never done this before and it looks like you really dont kno what your talking about. Its pretty hard to know by just reading a lot of the material, itll all puzzle in together perfectly once you get your hands on it. Check heavythorrtle.com for reference. They did a great job showing you step by step about what you have to do

Ok, I wrote a auto to 5 speed that is in the faq and archive section. It should help you a lot, but here is some more info.
Basically you want the ss braided line to run from the hardline to the slave cylinder. everything else you have listed is fine. I recommend though unless you want to drop your steering column cut your auto brake pedal down, its what I do in all my swaps.
you do need a lower shifter boot and plate as well. That should be on your clip. YOu will not be able to use the clutch hardline from your clip because its not long enough. You can either source a upper clutch hardline or convert a brake line(some people do this).
Again all the info is here on Zilvia if you use the search.

Well the question is semi different.

He wants to know what he COULD use from an s14 JDM clip.. not HOW to do it.

Oh yah, no. That wasn't meant for you drift freaq. I was merely explaining why the thread hadn't become a flame war from the start as SiI40sx was expecting.
