Power mirror question? S13

Ok, probably dumb but I have to ask to know. Sorry.

I have an S13 that has no power mirrors. When taking apart my console, I noticed that there is a little harness along with the one for the cigarette lighter, and I assume this can only be for the power mirrors.

What I'm wondering is, even though my car DOES NOT have power mirrors/windows, does it still have the harness and wiring for it? Like, could I just get that power-mirror control, hook up the harness and pop it in my console, and I could have power mirrors?

Is this harness even for the power mirrors? And if it is, does my car have the wiring for the power mirrors, even though it wasn't factory equipped with them?

I believe the power mirror harness is indeed what you have found, I have the same on my parts chassis that does not have power mirrors. My driver has power mirrors and I use that same harness for my control switch.
You could probably have power mirrors as long as you installed the power mirrors along with the switch.
No expert on this, just my presumption.

It's not prewired. The plug you found should be a 6pin, that's for the automatic transmission shifter illumination. All 5spd cars are wired for that. The mirror plug is larger with about 10 pins.
The doors are not wired either, base models have wiring for the key latch and the speaker, nothing else.

Kinda Related to this, I have the North American S13 I have the power mirrors but I'd also like to have the JDM Power folding mirrors. Id there a relay that I need and can I jimmy rig something from radio shack to work arround it. If anyone has a wiring diagram or has insight on this Id appreciate it.

Cheers

All you need are the mirrors, the jap switch thingy, and some wire. You will need to run 2 extra wires to each mirror, thats it. Not to hard.
