currently on my S14 sr i am using a 3 inch greddy down pipe and a 2 row greddy ic. Now I have saved enough $ for a BOV and plan to get it pretty soon. There are 2 pretty popular BOV's. The HKS sequential BOV - where it makes kinda that high "whistling??" pitch sound, or the BLITZ BOV where is sounds like "PSHHHHH" (sorry didnt know how else to put it)

I am also taking into consideration 2 other BOV's which are kinda hard to find. One is a SARD BOV - which needs stock S14 intercooler pipping. The other is SHEEPDOG BOV. I'm still deciding.

Ok first of all what are you trying to find out? You have a stock BOV and that will be enough to run more boost. A BOV does nothing for boost controll. Yes under high boosts some BOV may leak but on a stock SR turbo you shouldn't have that problem. The CFM is low on that turbo and you can't boost that much on the car without fuel control anyways.

Rotaryknight said it all. A BOV will do nothing to help the amount of boost you can run. And if you want to keep your turbo for more than 3 months 14psi is the highest you can go but let's not forget that you need atleast a 255ltr/hr fuel pump and also 550cc injectors w/ a remapped air/fuel curve to be able to feed the engine under that much boost. I originally wanted to run the high boost (look at my sig) but then realized it would cost me around $1400 to do it So needless to say boost levels will stay around 10psi
With the 3in dp, apexi n1 dual, straight through, and cone filter...should be good for about 220hp

How does that N1 dual sound with the SR. The mods that you listed is prolly what I will have for a while, while I work on my suspension for some autocross. I juss don't know if I should get N1 Dual or 5Zigen Fireball

You still have not asked a specific question...are you trying to ask our BOV preferrences? I have a HKS Type S FMIC on order...from my experiences the HKS FMIC for most cars do not have a flange....a universal flange must be welded to the piping. On my FD i had to weld one.

I'm very biased towards HKS products so I'll say HKS.

I have a Blitz LM Intercooler and Sard R2D2 BOV on my S14 SR. The intercooler...I love it, but it's not like I've run a comparison with other intercoolers. Blitz is the cheapest, and runs tube and fin (supposedly better than the bar and plate that's the industry standard). For our purposes, tube and fin/bar and plate won't really matter, so thats a dumb reason to pick it - but the price, like I said, is only 900 bucks.

I love the Sard BOV. You DO NOT need to run the stock piping. My kit came with a rubber hose, clamps, and the BOV - it fits right onto the Blitz flange, no welding, no modification whatsoever. It took five minutes to put on, and I haven't touched it since. It has a beautiful sound - and I have no complaints about reliability or performance. Best of all, it only costs $240 SHIPPED from taka kaira. I've seen HKS and Greddy go for over that sold domestically, unshipped.
