Silvia grill on zenki..how important are top screws

Ok I test fitted my silvia grill today on my zenki. Took two plastic screws off than pulled straight up on the on the original grill. Makes a pop sound as it comes off. So I get the silvia and put it on, but I noticed when it goes in the 3 bumper tabs there's no snap into place type of sound. So I just ignore. However when I put the screws in, the driver side of the silvia grill, had to be pushed against some, for me to slide the screw in. This made the grill not as flush with the bumper. With out the screws, the grill is PERFECT.

So what I was thinking about is just using zip ties instead of screws, to keep tension of the driver side, and keep it flush.

Also when I put the old grill in, it snaps in place, but only passenger end hole. The tabs in the other holes seemed to have prongs missing on the lil clasps. Anyway how important is it for the new grill to snap into place. I mean its in their kinda firm, but it did come out a lil easier than the old one.

Guess what Im saying is I don't want my grill flying off

Yeah I mean they sit down i nthe bumper holes, but I just don't here that click. And when I put screws in, they make the bottom of the grill not flus hwith bumper. Very minor, but if you sat and stared for like 5sec you would notice lol.
