as Nik stated above, or it's your syncros starting to go, i know with mine, i have to be gentle with it in 2nd gear or it'll grind, i've heard also that syncromesh works good too.

if you just changed your clutch, make sure its fully disengaging. ebrake down, jack up the rear, start the car, put it in first gear with the clutch pedal fully down. if your wheels start moving a little, you need to bleed/adjust/etc.

Some Redline Shockproof should do the trick, just make sure all the fluids are all warm and moving around before you row through the gears really good though

Try wut people said first...re-bleed the clutch line, then play with the pedal adjustment. Feel where it engage and disengages, it should be half way up and down the clutch pedal. If it still grinds, then synchros for sure...change your tranny fluid and go buy some Redline. I would recommend going 1 qt shockproof and fill to the top with MT-90.

And by "to the top" he means to the bottom of the fill hole, with the car level.

who actually uses the fill hole? I just pour in 3 qts through the shifter hole (a little over but hey its an old tranny). I used Shockproof and I absolutely hated that stuff. Go MT90 and never look back.

ok, first of all its not called clutch fluid. the clutch hydraulic system uses brake fluid. don't take this the wrong way. i'm not making fun of you guys. i just don't want you going to the parts store and asking for clutch fluid.

and if your synchros are bad you need to replace the transmission or get the whole thing rebuilt.
