Falken tire sizing: ST vs RT series
Pretty common knowledge by now that Falken cheats a bit in their RT 215/615 series, making them a little wider than reporter sizes (i.e. their 225 is very close to others' 235)
Do the ST-116 and GR FK-415 Beta have similar plus sizing characteristics? |

WHY DO THEY KEEP DISCONTINUING GOOD TIRES?!?!!
It's so stupid. They discontinue every good tire before I even get a try at them.

Well they aren't gone yet.
Falken would be super retarded not to replace with a similar tire at a similar price. st-215 maybe? and yes rt-215/615 run wide. I think its the shoulder design of the tire that makes it a little wider than others all falkens have a cool rim protector thing that looks cool when the tires are slightly stretched too |

for regular commuting the ziex > ST and FK. they'll last alot longer and actually have some grip in the snow. not that you cali guys have to worry about that. and they're cheaper too.
btw for any of you contemplating fk vs st fk >>>> st in the wet st > fk in the dry (but only slightly) fk has a much lower treadwear rating, although the ST's supposedly do not last that long either. fk has more treadsquirm then the st. iirc some nasioc guys have alot of success on fk's by shaving them down to 4/32. that's basically what i dug up on google when i was contemplating ziex vs st vs grb |

ziexes are TOO big a step down, thats' like a mommy daddy tire
ST/FK depends on whichever is in stock around here in the right size how much of "st's not lasting that long" is attributable to drifters using it very frequently? |
