Ok so i got a 240sx 89 , it has a manual 5speed tranny but fifth and reverse gears will not go in at all!! only 1-4 gears work. does anyone know how to fix it?

this happened to mine while switching bell housings.... i think one of the shift rods jammed. i took it apart and put it back together and it worked again. ive heard of trannys from sr swaps doing this in shipping also.
