What kind of oil filter should I use for my 1991 KA DOHC? Is there an OEM one I can get from a dealer or can I just use one from an autostore? What are some good brands? Example, FRAM sucks....
Thanks,
Natty

LOL... sorry
I dont know if there is any change between '96 and '91.  I'd assume so, but anyway.
Of course you can get a filter from an auto store, like AutoZone, or Discount Auto Parts.
I use Mobil 1 filters or Bosch filters.  I know the part number for my Bosch is 3400, cuz I have one sitting in front of me.
Most part stores have a huge book you can look up by make/year/model and have listings for all the brands they carry.

I hear from some people on the board that NAPA silvers are EXCELLENT filters.  OEM are always good too, but usually expensive (for a filter anyway)
