I have a 95' as well. I ran my wire across the engine and found the grommit on the driver's side where all the engine wiring went through the fire wall. cut a hole in it with a knife, and fished my power cable through there. In order to be able to see where it is comming out of I then took off the panel that covers the fuses (not just the fuse cover, but the entire panel), and it was pretty easy to see where it all came out. The grommit I am speaking of is pretty recessed, so it may take a little looking, and the work with it is mostly blind, only by feel. Don't bother trying to get it through the passenger side grommit though, as there is no way to get through the fire wall over there without drilling (at least that is what I found)

Hope that helps

ok..the problem with running the wire through the firewall is you will have to find ways to hide the wire in the cockpit. It really sucks to rip apart doors, trim and carpet. Run the cable down behind the battery and follow the brake lines. You will see several lines running toward the back of the car on the passenger side on the inside of the frame. Zip-tie the wire to the others and run it back, above the diff and into the grommit where the spare tire is. No hiding cables
To stem any argument about safety of this...I just totaled my car and had to strip it off all my stuff (including a 4guage power wire) It was in PERFECT condition and has been there since january.

im not sure if they are the smae but if you look on the glove compartment side, there should be a rubber bushing that wires already run through.... that goes right into the interior of the car and you should be able to run the wire under the carpet... but i got a 93 s13... so im not sure if yours have a rubber bushing there...
