Hello

Hi! I'm a new member and I'm assuming this is the Introduction forum. Anyway, what brings me here is that I bought my daughter (after incessant pleading) an '89 240 SX that I should have scrutinized much more before buying. After a lot of work (tranny mount, motor mount, several pieces of right side front suspension, vacuum system parts, misaligned flywheel) I'm down to a problem with the driveability. The car starts and runs fine for about 5-10 minutes then begins to hesitate on acceleration from a dead stop and is very hard to restart after short trips. I was hoping to find some help. I don't have much in the way of technical info on this car. I had to buy a vacuum piping diagram from the dealer because the original was missing and there doesn't seem to be many aftermarket manuals on this model. I will be glad to run down any ideas anyone might have to solve this problem. Thanks and hope to hear from some of you soon! Paul

I find it oddly amazing that you find this, what you assume is the "introduction forum," but ignored a thread that starts with "if you are new..." to start a brand new thread to introduce yourself.
I commend you, however, for presenting some questions to make the thread outside of that.
*HOWEVER*
... you have presented questions that could be answered with a simple search (right up to and including a downloadable Factory Service Manual) and will surely see more than comfortable from forum members should this thread remain open. I will lock it now.
